Description:
The successful candidate will demonstrate experience in leading large, multi-disciplined diverse teams through the complete product development life cycle following an integrated system engineering process. Candidates must have knowledge of integrating complex, real-time, high throughput, signal processing systems. Exceptional candidates will present a deep understanding of requirements development in an agile environment, architecture definition / decomposition, testing philosophies / methodologies, and verification coverage.

REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
• Responsible for requirements development, architecture decomposition, system analyses (reliability, maintainability, etc.), integration and test planning, and system verification for multiple radar products.
• Perform functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition to translate stakeholder requirements into design specifications.
• Execute system-level radar integration and verification of associated system-level requirements by defining & executing tests in a lab and field environment. Perform data analysis to evaluate and troubleshoot system/subsystem anomalies along with researching & root-causing such anomalies. Work closely with the Software, Firmware, FPGA, Hardware, Electromagnetics, and Radar Sciences teams to aid in the investigations & resolutions.
• Support technical publications in developing for customer releases system requirements documents, test procedures, and test reports.
• Support technical & functional leadership through the identification of risk, and further champion the development & sustainment of processes to execute on cost, schedule & technical performance goals for the company.
• Work closely with customer representatives in all the above tasks to support witnessed events.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
• Experience with Radar or similar system development, verification, and deployment with detailed technical knowledge of the physical and functional characteristics of Radar or similar system elements.
• Experience in operations/performance analyses of complex electronic systems (Radar, Sonar, SAR, etc.).
• Experience developing use cases
• Experience developing concepts of operation documents
• Experience with developing system level requirements
• Experience with developing system level design
• Experience with test procedure generation
• Experience with IV&V (e.g., functional, regression, performance and acceptance testing)
• Experience in developing test plans

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Math, Physics, or related discipline.
• At least 7+ years’ experience in concept development, system design, performance requirements definition, integration and test of complex real-time systems.
• Availability to travel domestically as required by the supported programs.
• Flexibility to work non-standard work shifts as required by the supported programs.
